EDL 406 - Second Language Learning and Pedagogy[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite: Student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher to be eligible for this course. The first of a two-course sequence in ESL/EFL pedagogy, this course covers theories of second-language acquisition, competing methods for teaching English to speakers of other languages, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, and issues involving language learning in multicultural settings. Required for TESOL endorsement.
