CHE 580 - Advanced Materials Processing(3 credits) Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing in chemical engineering or permission of instructor. Use of fundamental principles in design and analysis of advanced materials processing, such as fabrication of semiconductor devices, optical materials fabricated by sol-gel processes, ceramic-metal composites, and control of morphology at submicron levels. Statistical treatment and analysis of experimental/plant data.
