ECE 502 - Teaching Methods in Early Childhood Education(4 credits)
Prerequisite(s): ECE 500 , ECE 501 , and EDC 501 . Study of teaching methods for educational settings that serve children from age three through age eight. Attention is given to strategies for planning, teacher-child interactions, guiding children’s behavior, organizing the learning environment, conducting lessons/activities, care giving, and supporting play, projects, and integrated curriculum. Required for early childhood teaching license.
