EDL 580 - Reading Recovery Internship

(6 credits)

Prerequisite(s): Permission of the department chair and a minimum of three years experience as a kindergarten, first-grade, or remedial reading teacher. Teachers learn to use Reading Recovery diagnostic and intervention procedures to accelerate first graders’ learning. Year-long practicum during regular school day and school district support are required.
