ESE 518 - Curriculum and Instruction for Students with Mild/ Moderate Disabilities(4 credits)
Prerequisite(s): ESE 502 and ESE 517 . Study of appropriate curriculum, materials, instructional techniques, and use of technology with emphasis on academics, social development, and functional skills in educational planning. Explores instructional accommodations for students with mild/moderate disabilities in the regular education setting. Required for licensure as a Mild/Moderate Intervention Specialist, for students who possess a certification or license in another teaching area.
