ESE 523 - Introduction to Individuals with Autism

(4 credits)
Prerequisite(s): ESE 500  recommended. Exploration of characteristics of individuals (birth through adulthood) with autism, along with their varying needs for intervention and educational services. Examination of historical and current issues and trends related to the treatment of autism.
