HIS 523 - Recent American History(4 credits) Study of the interactions among the major social, political, economic, and cultural events in the United States since 1939. Major topics include World War II, the origins and impact of the Cold War, Vietnam, the civil rights movement, and other movements for social change in the 1960s.
