IME 660 - Computer Integrated Design and Manufacturing

Prerequisite(s): IME 560 or equivalent. Introduction of the concepts of solid modeling of parts, computer-aided design strategies, control of manufacturing processes through computers, and integration of computer-controlled machine tools with design models, and understanding of CAD/CAM systems architectures through case studies and projects.
