NUR 505 - Introduction to Demography & Epidemiology: A Nursing Perspective

Prerequisite: Admission to the MSN program or permission of the instructor. This course focuses on the assessment of population groups with an emphasis on epidemiology and demography. Analysis of population-based data for use in practice, program planning, and consultation is emphasized. There is an opportunity to use epidemiology and demography data to plan interventions for populations. Hour requirements: 100 hours over an average of 12-15 weeks.
