The advanced generalist practicum provides students with the opportunity to develop competencies in advanced generalist social work practice, building upon generalist practice skills. Students will integrate and apply the knowledge, values, and skills developed in their course work to develop advanced generalist social work competencies for engaging assessing, and intervening with individuals, families, and groups in advanced generalist practice settings. The advanced generalist field practicum is systematically designed, supervised, and coordinated. Students are evaluated on criteria by which they demonstrate the advanced generalist social work competencies.
