OTH 729 - Sensory Functions and Process Skills: Evaluation and Intervention

Prerequisite: Admission to the Occupational Therapy Program. This course is designed to teach at the application, analysis, and evaluation levels of learning. Course content focuses on the sensory functions and process skills of persons across the lifespan. Students demonstrate an understanding of and apply, analyze, and evaluate the scientific evidence, theories, and frames of reference used by occupational therapists to guide and inform evaluations and occupation-based interventions of sensory functions and process skills. The course lays the foundation for use of this information in a more integrated way in later courses. Lab Fee.
