OTH 741 - Occupational Therapy Research II[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite: Admission to the Occupational Therapy Program; OTH 740; or permission of instructor. This course continues to prepare students for evidence-based practice and grant writing needed for entry-level practice. Students will synthesize data collected in Research I in order to complete a rigorous systematic review of the literature on a topic relevant to OT practice. In addition, students will identify funding mechanisms relevant to their research topic. They will use findings from the systematic review to support the development and completion of a full grant proposal. Students will present their work to the public in a research forum.
