OTH 800 - Doctoral Capstone I: Preparation[1 credit(s)] Prerequisite: Admission to the Occupational Therapy Program. This seminar course supports the preparation and delivery of a capstone (experience and project) as the culminating product of the student’s doctoral studies. Students will learn about the doctoral experience and capstone project requirement. The capstone project demonstrates the synthesis of in-depth knowledge in the focused area of study. Students will explore and identify an area of interest relevant to practice that may include a focus on theory development, research skills, program and policy development, clinical practice skills, advocacy, education, administration, and/or leadership projects. They will complete a literature review on the area of interest and identify future practice scholar capstone possibilities.
