ART 252 - Caves to Cathedrals[3 credit(s)] An introduction to the study of art history and to the visual arts of prehistoric Europe, ancient Egypt and the Middle East, ancient Greece and Rome, and Europe and the Islamic World during the Middle Ages. Students gain skills in looking at works of art, thinking about their historical, religious, and cultural contexts, and talking and writing about what they see. Typically includes visits to the Cleveland Museum of Art.
