MCE 421 - Applied Thermodynamics

Prerequisite: ESC 321. Co-requisite: MCE 481. Entropy,irreversibility, second law efficiency, combined gas-vapor power cycles, cogeneration; air power, refrigeration, and heat pump cycle and system analysis; gas mixtures and psychrometrics; combustion fundamentals, chemical reactions, chemical and phase equilibrium; energy conversion systems analysis and design.
