MUS 355 - Vocal Techniques for the Classroom[1 credit(s)] Prerequisites: MUS 204. Required of all music education majors; open to others by permission of the instructor. Techniques for learning and teaching proper use of the singing voice, with particular emphasis on singers in school settings. Includes the basics of vocal health, the vocal mechanism, tuneful singing, vocal/choral warm-ups, the male changing voice and working with adolescent voices in choral settings.
