CVE 427 - Capstone Design[2 credit(s)]
Prerequisite: Gen Ed Eng/Comp. CVE 426, CVE 211 AND 4 of 5: CVE 322, CVE 331, CVE 371, CVE 446, CVE 461. A capstone design course which applies and extends previously developed principles of civil engineering including engineering standards and realistic constraints. Students work in multi-disciplinary teams on planning, design and analysis of a civil project, involving as much as possible all major aspects of the civil engineering profession. Computer-aided analysis, cost estimation, planning and management should be included in the design.
