MTX 281 - Therapeutic Musicianship II[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite: Music therapy major. Successful completion of MTX 280. This course focuses on student development of a more advanced music therapy foundation on guitar, voice, and percussion. Students will increase development of functional repertoire of traditional, folk, and popular music on each instrument and instructors will model how to integrate these skills into real-life clinical settings. Music therapy majors must earn at least a “B-” for this course to be counted towards the music therapy bachelor’s degree.
