INB 490H - International Business Internship

[1-3 credit(s)]
Prerequisite: INB 301/MKT 321, one IB core elective, permission of the student’s honors advisor and the IB Program Director. Specially-arranged field experience in the U.S. or abroad, providing intensive exposure to international business environment, practices, customs, and languages. For internship abroad, appropriate language proficiency is required. Domestic internship must be in an organization which is heavily involved in international business. Student must submit a written proposal to be approved by a faculty advisor of the student’s choosing and IB Program Director before registration. A written term paper will be required. Contact the IB Program Director for current information. Internship credits will be based on hours worked: a minimum of 10 hours per week (or 150 hours) for two credits; 15 hours per week (or 225 hours) for three credits.
