NUR 338 - Application of Genetic and Genomic Technology to Delivery of Nursing Care Across the Lifespan[3 credit(s)] Essentially all disease processes have a genetic or genomic component. This course introduces the essential competencies needed to prepare the nursing workforce to incorporate a genetics/ genomics perspective into the delivery of competent nursing care. The course will explore how genetic/genomic technology produces information to inform best practices for disease prevention, screening, diagnosis and treatment across the lifespan.
