MUS 430 - Practical Approach to Music and Sound in Film and Media Arts[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite: School of Music, School of Film and Media Arts, and School of Communication majors or permission of instructor. This course offers an introduction to the practice and aesthetic premises of music in film and other audio-visual media arts. Students learn the tools and techniques how to score successfully or select appropriate music for feature, documentary, and television films. Music students will ideally work in teams with their peers from the School of Film and Media Arts and/or School of Communication.
