BIO 479 - Plant Ecology Laboratory

Prerequisites: BIO 202 AND a 300 level BIO/ EVS course, or permission of instructor. Corequisite: BIO 478. This course is an overview of laboratory and field methods in plant ecology. Topics will cover scales from individuals, populations, and communities to ecosystems. Students will develop skills in plant field techniques, critical thinking, application of ecological concepts, and experimental design.
