ANT 250 - Culture Change, Diet, and Disease[3 credit(s)] This course examines how key cultural transitions over the past 12,000 years have contributed to the distribution and determinants of human diets and disease globally. Topics covered include the demographic, epidemiological, and nutrition transitions, health and diets in foraging, agricultural, and industrial societies, culture contact, war and conflict, and contemporary health issues related to globalization, modernization, and environmental change.
