CRM 358 - The History of Crime and Criminal Justice in the United States[3 credit(s)] Prerequisite: Gen Ed Eng/Comp, Must have at least sophomore standing to be eligible for this course. An introduction to the historical study of crime, criminal law, and law enforcement, and prisons in the United States from colonial times to the present. It highlights changes in criminal behavior and in the ways Americans have sought to define and deter crime and to punish and/or rehabilitate criminals.
