MCE 450 - Design Project I

Prerequisite: Completion of the Core Curriculum Research & Professional Writing requirement. Completion of junior year program in mechanical engineering. Course requires the preparation of an engineering system design or project proposal covering problem identification, conceptual design, and the schedule of work required to carry out the project. (Projects are carried out in MCE 451 in a subsequent term.) Concurrent seminars on methodology, decision-making, and design evaluations.
