OTH 736 - Occupation and Participation: Adults

Prerequisite: Admission to the Occupational Therapy Program. This course provides a working knowledge and application, analysis, and evaluation of the concepts and principles of occupational therapy with young to middle adults and families in diverse settings using simulated and actual case materials. The focus of this course is OT evaluation and intervention for maintaining and/or enhancing the occupational performance and participation of individuals in their early and middle adulthood in the areas of education, social participation, ADLs, IADLS, leisure, sleep/rest, and work to promote health and quality of life of persons, groups, and populations using the best evidence to support practice.
