ART 244 - Introduction to Macintosh

(4 credits)
Prerequisite(s): ART 102 . Introduction to computer design using a Macintosh platform. The course will begin by developing an understanding of the current Macintosh operating system, and with a brief introduction of technical issues related to using the computer for design purposes. The remainder of the course will be devoted to studying the industry standard page layout, illustration, and photo alteration software (QuarkXpress, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop).
