GRK 101 - Intro to Ancient Greek I

(4 credits)

Basic introduction to ancient Attic (Athenian) Greek. Through reading and translating passages in ancient Greek, students will acquire the basic vocabulary and rules of grammar necessary to read ancient Greek texts in the original language. This course is also useful for students interested in the philosophy, history, culture, and literature of the Classical world.
