IST 211 - Fundamentals of Systems Development

(4 credits)
Prerequisite(s): IST 203 . Introduces the fundamental concepts of object-oriented programming using a contemporary CO language.Topics include event driven programming, classes and objects, graphical user interfaces, data types, control structures, functions and subroutines, arrays, files, error handling; the mechanics of running, testing, and debugging programs; definition and use of user-defined classes.
