Political thought from the Renaissance to the present, focusing on liberalism and its critics, from Rousseau to postmodernism. Emphasis on figures such as Machiavelli, Locke, Rousseau, Marx, Foucault, and feminism as well as other theorists. This course may fulfill a General Education Requirement.
