SWK 485 - Interventions II(4 credits)
Prerequisite(s): SWK 385 , SWK 390 , SWK 395 and written permission of field coordinator. SWK 485, SWK 490 and SWK 495 must be taken concurrently. Course is designed to give the student an opportunity to study the theory and develop skills related to small groups and community dynamics. Organizational dynamics and community services will be the primary focus for course. Advocacy and various strategies to promote social/organizational change will be considered. Completion of the major is contingent upon a grade of B or better. Writing.
