BIO 200 - Introductory Biology I

(3 credits)
Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: Minimum GPA of 2.0 or first semester Freshman. It is recommended that students who do not have high school biology and chemistry should complete BIO 200 with a grade of C or better prior to enrolling in BIO 100. Corequisite: BIO 201 . It is recommended that students who do not have a high school biology and chemistry complete BIO 100 with a grade of C or better prior to enrolling in BIO 200. An introduction to modern biology covering basic principles of molecular and cell biology, immunity, genetics, evolution, and biological classification.This course may fulfill a General Education Requirement.
