Prerequisite(s): BIO 200, BIO 202 and CHM 331 are prerequisites for this course. Discussion of the essential concepts underlying biochemistry. Topics include chemical concepts, structure of biological molecules, catalysis, metabolic regulation, and molecular genetics.
