EEC 440 - Control Systems

Prerequisite(s): EEC 314 and EEC 315 (Electrical Engineering), or EEC 313 and EEC 316 (Computer Engineering); must be enrolled in the College of Engineering to be eligible for this course. Feedback control systems. Topics include: characteristics and analysis of feedback control systems; controlled system modeling; performance measures; stability; design using the root locus, frequency response, and state variable methods; characteristics of digital control loops; digital controller design using the emulation method.
