MTH 168 - Precalculus Mathematics II

(4 credits)

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: A grade of ‘C’ or better in MTH 167 or suitable placement-test score. Functions, polynomial and rational functions, exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric, and inverse trigonometric functions. This course makes extensive use of the software ALEKS for computer assisted instruction, assessment, and testing. Some class meetings will be held in a computer laboratory setting and students are expected to use the software on a self-paced, out-of-class basis to supplement regular in-class meetings. This course may fulfill a General Education Requirement.
