This course examines the phenomenal growth of urban areas in Asian countries and the unique factors of 21st century urbanization in Asia including technology, religion, globalization, and environmental concerns; studies growth of megacities through economic, demographic, and socio-political analyses. This course may fulfill a General Education Requirement.
