CVE 427 - Capstone Design(2 credits)
Prerequisite(s): CVE 426. A capstone design course which applies and extends previously developed principles of civil engineering including engineering standards and realistic constraints. Students work in multi-disciplinary teams on planning, design and analysis of a civil project, involving as much as possible all major aspects of the civil engineering profession. Computer-aided analysis, cost estimation, planning and management should be included in the design. Registration must be in the semester immediately following registration in CVE 426.
