Superintendent License

Prerequisites
Master’s degree and course requirements for principal’s license and three years of experience in school administration.
The Superintendent License may be added to the valid Professional Teacher License for an individual who holds a Principal or Administrative Specialist License and may be valid for teaching in the areas designated in the license for supervising programs for ages three through twenty-one and pre-kindergarten through grade twelve or for administrative duties in a school system.
In addition to the prerequisites, the following requirements must be met prior to recommendation for the Superintendent License:
- Three years of successful experience in a position requiring a Principal or Administrative Specialist License
- Completion of a program that includes the following course of study:
