Educational Studies Minor
|

The educational studies minor offers flexible, interdisciplinary options to students who may be interested in education but may not want to pursue licensure. It provides essential knowledge for students majoring in urban studies, social work, psychology and other related fields whose profession may involve collaboration with the PK-12 school system. Students wishing to minor in Educational Studies must complete 18 credit hours. This includes four core courses (12 credits) and two elective courses in the following three tracks as outlined below:
- Teaching & Learning Inside & Outside the Classroom
- Urban Educational Studies
- Youth Development & Relational Practices

Core Courses (12 Credits)
Electives (6 Credits)
Students must take 6 credits of electives from within or across the various tracks. Teaching and Learning Inside and Outside the Classroom
