COM 403 - Advanced Video/Audio Editing

Prerequisite(s): COM 204, COM 352, COM 353 and permission of instructor. Students learn operation of nonlinear video editing, and digital audio workstations and digital graphics applications. Students study and practice the concepts of sequencing (including cut-ins and cut-aways), montage, time manipulation, rhythm, and transitions. Students spend considerable lab time outside the classroom.
