CVE 440 - Soil Stabilization and Decontamination

Prerequisite(s): CVE 331 and CVE 373. Engineering classification of soils; clay mineralogy; properties of different types of soils including strength, permeability, volume-density and characteristics; soil contaminant interaction, methods of soil stabilization, methods of soil decontamination, process selection, and site remediation. Soil decontamination design project.
