ENG 208 - Womanism/Feminism(4 credits) Literature reflecting women’s movement in America. Initial focus examines 19th-century bi-racial origins and ideologies to establish definitions of womanism as distinct from feminism and to frame readings of women’s movements across ethnic and cultural communities in America over the 20th-century. African-American Experience, Western Culture and Civilization, Human Diversity.. This course may fulfill a General Education Requirement.
