ENG 280 - Classical Literature in Translation

(4 credits)

Readings from the literature of classical Greece and Rome, with emphasis on critical analysis and writing about texts in the context of ancient and modern debates about their meaning. Readings include at least one of the three major epics: the Iliad, the Odyssey, or Virgil’s Aeneid. This course may fulfill a General Education Requirement.
