HIS 320 - U.S. Foreign Policy Since 1898(4 credits) This course covers U.S. foreign policy from the Spanish-American-Cuban-Filipino War through the Vietnam War. The greatest attention is paid to U.S. relations with European and East Asian nations through all the parts of the world including “realist” and “idealist” interpretations of U.S. foreign policy. All students are given an opportunity to conduct an independent research project of their own. This course may fulfill a General Education Requirement.
