HIS 353 - 20th-Century Europe, 1914 to the Present

Lecture and group discussion approach to some of the major cultural, social, political, and economic developments in Europe since 1914; social and cultural impact of two world wars; totalitarianism and the decline of empire; emphasis is placed on the Cold War and events since 1945. This course may fulfill a General Education Requirement.
