MET 330 - Advanced Dynamics & Vibrations(4 credits) Prerequisite(s): associate-degree-level calculus, statics, and strength of materials courses or MET 300 and MTT 300 . Displacement, velocity and acceleration of particles and rigid bodies with combined translation and rotation. Reaction and inertia forces and mass and polar moments of inertia. Analysis by equations of motion, force-acceleration, work-energy, and impulse-momentum. Conservative and non-conservative forces and moments. Free and forced vibrations, natural frequency, and fundamentals of damping and vibration isolation.
