MLA 265 - Francophone Literature in Translation

Survey of literary works originnally written in French from across the Francophone world.Includes Northern and Sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean and immigrant communities in France and Quebec.Works are examined in their cultural contests in order to compare features such as the impact of colonialism and the role of women. This course may fulfill a General Education Requirement.
