Prerequisite(s): Junior standing or permission of chair. Current human-resource issues, policies, and practices. Includes study of legal environment, job analysis, planning, recruiting, selection, training, performance appraisal, compensation, and benefits; strategic and international HR issues are addressed throughout the course.
