MUS 351 - Teaching String Instruments

Prerequisite(s): MUS 205, MUS 232, MUS 242. Techniques of playing and teaching violin, viola, cello, and contrabass with an emphasis upon beginning instruction and methods and materials for group lessons. Laboratory class for music-education majors as preparation for teaching school instrumental music.
