PED 454 - Sport Sociology

Examines the effects of social change on the structure and function of sport. The course explores the popular concept that sport mirrors society through topics such as sport and politics, economics, racism, sexism, violence, deviance, youth sport, academics integrity and sport, and the impact of media on sport.
